You have two opportunities to join the festivities:
On March 24, an estimated 200 people were on hand for the renaming of Coconut Point Park in honor of late County Commissioner Val M. Steele, brother of District 5 Commissioner and Commission Chair Jason Steele.
The 200-acre Ritch Grissom Memorial wetlands, commonly referred to as the Viera Wetlands, partially reopened to the public on March 4 after having been off limits since June 2023.
